Business Development Manager - Melbourne

Objective the of role

To win new business contracts and account manage the ongoing client relationship, driving penetration of vehicle finance products and ensuring renewal of contracts at expiry.

Core responsabilities of role

Business development – Winning New Accounts

  • Consistently develop new prospect lists & conduct prospecting phone calls to secure new business appointments
  • ?Execute prospecting phone calls to recipients of direct marketing campaigns in line with corporate objectives
    ?Execute business development activities to identify, groom and close new accounts in line with Corporate Sales & Marketing Strategy
    ?Attend industry events to network with target market and engage new prospects
    ?Deliver presentations and facilitate meetings that effectively target prospect objectives and demonstrate Autopia’s unique value propositions, resulting in subsequent meetings and sales
    ?Manage the contract implementation phase to ensure successful implementation

Account Management - Launching New Accounts

  • Co-ordinate preparation and distribution of hard and soft copy materials to announce new benefit
  • Facilitate onsite education sessions
  • Generate leads (requests for consultations) for the Consumer Team from these activities

Account Management - Growing Penetration in Accounts

  • Build relationships with C-level HR and Finance executives (and operational influencers) in key accounts
  • Through leveraging these relationships, you will ensure that the benefits of our vehicle finance products are top of mind across the organisation
  • Ensure the timely distribution of “deal of the month” campaigns each month
  • Conduct periodic education sessions at client sites (and onsite consults where required)

Account Management - Managing Service Delivery in Accounts

  • Work in consultation with your Account Support Manager on all day to day account management
  • Facilitate monthly conversations with accounts in relation to fleet trending as evidenced by active vehicle reports
  • Review Driver Surveys monthly, troubleshooting exceptions with the client and Consumer Team
  • Manage escalated customer complaints in accounts to resolution
  • Review and audit FBT reports annually prior to submission, working with team members to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor the expiration of service agreements and engage strategies to ensure renewal

Must Haves

  • 3+ years recent experience in new business B2B sales
  • Zero call reluctance
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently facilitate 10+ new business appointments per week
  • Has demonstrated success selling to CFOs and or HRDs for 3+ years

Territory Manager - Sydney

The objective of this role is to identify, win and develop partnerships with accounting firms, aggregating new novated leasing and chattel mortgage clients/business from their client bases.

Core Responsibilities

  • Consistently develop new prospect lists & conduct prospecting phone calls to secure new business appointments
  • Execute prospecting phone calls to recipients of direct marketing campaigns in line with corporate objectives
  • Execute business development activities to identify, groom and close new partners/accounts in line with Corporate Sales & Marketing Strategy
  • Attend and present at industry events (some of which may be outside of business hours) to network with target market and engage new prospects
  • Develop proposals and tender responses where required
  • Deliver presentations to accounting client groups and their clients to educate them on the benefits of our vehicle finance/tax solutions
  • Manage your territory effectively by maintaining regular visitation schedules to partner sites and ensuring that promotional materials are well stocked, understood and utilised by partner channel
  • Work in consultation with novated leasing Business Development Managers to effectively bring on board Employer clients of accounting firms as new novated leasing customers
  • Regular interstate travel required
