In 1923, the Automobile Club of the Sarthe decided to organise a race
that would test around the clock endurance. Originally called the Grand
Prix of Endurance, the most prestigious car manufacturers in the world
have vied for a win ever since. Held annually at Circuit de la Sarthe in France, it's now called The 24 Hours of Le Mans, and it's the world's most famous sports car endurance race.
To win requires a supreme individual feat, combined with the support of a great team. The Autopia Le Mans Award embodies the spirit of this legendary race, and recognises not only outstanding results, but also the manner in which they were achieved.
After a seriously huge effort in recent months, Sam Clarke has been voted as Autopia’s latest Le Mans winner.
Congratulations Sam, just got to hold on to the trophy now..
