A bit about me…

When I’m not helping companies, individuals and friends with their cars, I'm most likely doing something vehicle related myself. I love the adrenaline rush I get from speed, whether it be racing my car, or even just watching F1. My other great passion is my new daughter, and I love great food - eating out with my wife Fiona is pure bliss.

My AutoPackage

I package two cars -  one that meets the requirements of my young family and one
that I can take out on track days to satisfy my desire for motorsport (no babies allowed!). The family car is a 2010 Volvo XC60. We really needed a bigger car that could accommodate two adults, a baby, a toddler and all the bits and pieces we need to carry around for the kids. It had to have all the luxury appointments to make for a comfortable drive and needed to rate highly in terms of safety. The Volvo ticked all the boxes in these areas. I test drove a number of other luxury 4wds, and in my opinion the XC60 presented the best overall value for money. I have structured the lease over three years. We drive just over 15,000kms pa in this car and we should be able to exit the lease with a decent profit at the end, greatly assisted by the substantial fleet discount I received up front and by the low kms on the clock.

Now over to my second passion behind family... my Lotus Elise. I spent a
long time searching for my perfect play thing, and eventually settled on one of the
best handling cars of all time. I have spent much time and money modifying this beautiful machine to give it the power that it deserves. My vision for this car is to take a street legal car to the limit of performance, and to enjoy this out on the track as often as possible. I have entered the Dutton Rally in previous years, and can't wait to do it again this year... the Elise might just have enough under the bonnet to give me a chance of winning outright. Oh - and I've packaged the car on a two year AutoPackage!

Favourite road trip

I love driving anywhere, anytime, but am most in my element when I'm actually out
on the race track. I've spent considerable time at Eastern Creek, Oran Park and Wakefield in NSW, and I'd have to say Eastern Creek is my favourite. I just love
coming out of turn 12 in 3rd gear and working the gearbox from 4th to 6th down
the straight towards turn one and seeing how much speed I can hold through one of the scariest corners in Australia. You just can't beat that feeling.
