A bit about me…

I grew up in Laurieton, in the mid-north coast of NSW - it’s a beautiful place but not that exciting unfortunately. I moved to Sydney about 9 years ago now and I’m thankful to have lots of my friends from home here with me too. I have always enjoyed driving, and although Laurieton is so small you never really needed a car it was definitely required to get out of town now and again!

I am currently in between cars, however I have my eye on an Ariel Atom. Just need to win the lottery.

First car

A grey Mini ls 1275 with a black racing stripe down the side. I was 16 and it was the coolest car in the world, until I got my canary yellow Superbug convertible.

Favourite road trip  

Every couple of months I head home, and this has got to be one of my favourite trips. The worst part is always just getting out of Sydney, and I try to leave early on a Friday if I can. I always stop at the Salty Dog near Newcastle, a coffee to keep me going, and then it’s another 3.5 hours straight through.

Laurieton is at the foot of North Brother Mountain, the highest of the three ‘Brother’ mountains, and always a sure sign that I’m almost home. Every time I’m home I manage to squeeze in a surf and although I love the north shore, there’s nothing like the break you grew up on.

I know everyone says this but it’s the people and the atmosphere at work. I really enjoy working here and I’ve not been able to say that very often over the years.
